401K CONTRIBUTION
Thank you for your time and consideration. I recently left one company and will begin working for another next week. My old firm appears to have taken a significant pre-tax 401k contribution from my last severance check and put it into my old 401K. In one shot, it was almost $21k.
Am I allowed to start again with this new company, maxing out my 401K, and so on? Is it going to put me over the IRS limit ?
Thanks

This is a virtual duplicate post of two days ago. Although, from a different username. Did you expect a different answer? Or is this just spam/phishing?

It’s a new method of spamming and I had flagged it. Clicking the link presents the spam, so this spammer is using a current legitmate post subject to generate some interest and then includes an illegitimate link disguised as a relevant link. Spammer may not even know what a 401k is.

I didn’t know what the link was, because I don’t click on links in such questionable posts.
