Inherited ROTH IRA – RMD Question

If you inherit a ROTH IRA from someone, non-spouse, who died in 2021 are you required to take RMDs over the 10 year period as you are with an inherited Traditional IRA, or can you wait until year 10 to take it all out?

There are no annual RMDs for an inherited Roth IRA subject to the 10 year rule because the owner of a Roth always passes prior to the RBD, since there is no RBD for a Roth IRA. However, if you are an EDB (eg a sibling not more than 10 years younger), then you must either take annual RMDs or opt into the 10 year rule.
