Can you add transfers an IRA Annuity to another IRA Annuity once RMDs have begun?

Can you add a transfer to an existing IRA once RMDS have begun?

As long as the IRA annuity has not been annuitized, it could be transferred into a new or existing IRA, whether an IRA annuity or not.  A direct transfer is not treated as a distribution and therefore does not affect RMD compliance, and an unlimited number of such transfers can be done. They are non reportable on a 1099R or on IRA owner’s tax return.
