Required 3% 401(k) Top Heavy Contribution?

Hello –

Client has a top heavy 401(k) plan as determined for 2021. Only 401(k) elective deferrals have been made to the plan in 2022. Furthermore, the employer does not intend to make a profit sharing contribution in 2022. Is it required to do so to alleviate the top heavy issue? Thank you.
