Contribution check postmarked for 2021, but deposited in 2022
The employee contribution was made to a profit sharing plan and the check was dated prior to 12/31/21, but it was deposited on 1/3/22. This is the first contribution and the employee is older than 72. Is there an RMD for 2022?

No RMD for 2022 as their was a 0 balance on 12/31/2021.
