SIMPLE IRA co. match deadline date?
Hello.
I have a business owner who has a SIMPLE IRA for himself and another SIMPLE IRA for his employees. How long does he have on timing to deposit the company match for a SIMPLE IRA? Does he have until the year-end (2023) or the actual taxes file deadline date to make the company match contribution? TY!

The matching contribution deadline is the due date or extended due date if an extension is filed for the SIMPLE IRA tax year. Therefore the 2023 year matching contribution deadline is either 4/15/2024 or 10/15/2024 with a filed extension.
