Non spousal Inherited IRA’s

What are the choices for a non spousal Inherited IRA? Can an adult child do a Roth Conversion with an Inherited IRA from a parent?

No, a non spousal inherited IRA cannot be converted. However, a taxable distribution from the inherited IRA could be used to fund a regular TIRA or Roth IRA contribution if eligible, or pay the taxes on a conversion of that beneficiary’s own TIRA.
