Can estate administration expenses offset IRA income?
A decedent passes without beneficiaries listed on a traditional ira and an estate ira is established. If the estate takes an ira distribution can the estate expenses (attorney, admin, accounting) be deducted against the IRA income?

Yes. If there are any funds left over they can be distributed out of the estate to the beneficiaries under decedent’s will.
