Inhertied IRA Coversion to ROTH Inherited IRA

Can you do a Roth conversion of a pre-tax inherited IRA?

No, not unless you are a spousal beneficiary who elects ownership. Ironically, an inherited qualified plan (eg 401k) can be converted to an inherited Roth IRA by a non spouse beneficiary, while an inherited IRA cannot.
