Company Owner SEP Match
Hello,
I own a construction company and have a handful of employees who are all 1099 contractors. I just wanted to confirm that if I open a SEP for myself there would be no match to these employees required since they are all 1099. I’m 99% confident that is the case, but wanted to make sure.
I also wanted to confirm there is no income limit that would disqualify me from contributing to the SEP or receiving the deduction.
Thank you in advance!

You are correct that no contributions should be made to SEP IRAs of independent contractors and there is no income limit for making SEP contributions to your own SEP IRA. Just be sure that these workers are not actually employees incorrectly treated as independent contractors.
