RMD – Beneficiary Roth and Beneficiary IRA
I have a new client that needs to take RMDs from a Beneficiary Roth and Beneficiary IRA. She took more than the RMD from the Beneficiary IRA. Can the excess count towards (satisfy) the Beneficiary Roth RMD?

No, the beneficiary RMDs from inherited Roth and inherited TIRAs must be completed separately. That said, if the death was post Secure Act and client is subject to the 10 year rule (not an EDB), there is no beneficiary RMD required from the inherited Roth IRA until year 10.
