roth IRA question
Hi,
Can you confirm that if someone dies who has a roth ira, the nonspouse beneficiary has 10 years to remove this ira? correct? Also, no rmds are required on roth ira’s, correct?
Thanks.

Yes, no annual RMDs as long as the 10 year rule applies.
But if the non spouse beneficiary is an EDB (eg disabled, minor child of decedent, or not more than 10 years younger than decedent), then the 10 year rule does not apply and annual beneficiary RMDs are required.
